ONLINE.
A moment in which during the pre-production stage where I used the different platforms was when I was sourcing the props for our shoot; online, in particular, featured heavily as something I frequently used.

This initially began with me communicating the different props needed for our shoot with the group; for this, I used our Whatsapp and Snapchat group chat (formed earlier on in the year). This worked particularly well as the platforms contained calling, texting, image sharing and voice message features allowing me maximum ease in explaining certain things when we weren't face to face. I primarily used texting/image sharing through Snapchat as it was Matthew and Lila's primary communication form but used Whatsapp for video sharing as it didn't decrease resolution and allowed for larger files. For example, I sent text messages confirming things that were needed to double check our final list with the group. I did this by drafting a message within the text box and typing out my desired message, and sending it, attaching any media if desired through my Samsung Galaxy 22.

After agreeing in regard to props I went ahead and purchased a large number of them from Amazon. I was in charge of this as I have accesses to the 'Prime' delivery service and am in day house, meaning that we could receive our props as soon as possible, allowing us to deal with any potential issues early. I did this by using the 'search' feature and finding our desired props, looking for what would keep our budget minimal and would arrive the quickest. Then, I payed via card and kept track of the prices so that we could split it between us. I did this all through my Samsung Galaxy 22 so that I could easily screenshot the lists and send them to my group via Whatsapp/Snapchat. The only prop in which I had to repurchase was the zip-ties, as I had ordered them a size too small for our actress.

Amazon was a good choice as it is a fairly secure website, is accessible from both mobile and desktop, and is highly efficient in regard to being able to read reviews before purchase, refund services, filter options and estimated delivery times. Once again the Prime feature was incredibly useful as it ensured that our props were arriving quickly, allowing us to deal with any potential issues early.
SOFTWARE + HARDWARE.

In regard to hardware, I used my Macbook Pro and Samsung Galaxy 22. I used these to communicate with my group through the online platforms mentioned, and to browse Amazon. These forms of hardware were particularly good choices as they had accesses to the internet, allowing me to transfer files between the two.

Through these forms of hardware, I also used the software 'Blogger' to blog and keep track of the process of purchasing props (alongside many other things). This was helpful as I frequently referred back to previous blogs to retrieve information, such as lists, prop sources etc. To make posts, I simply used the 'create post' button and titled my posts accordingly, organising my content chronologically by adjusting the release date on the calendar settings.
